 The Oxford Kitchen

The Design

We recently completed this stunning modern kitchen in Oxford. Our clients chose their cabinetry to be in the style of our Westminster range. The Westminster lends itself to a more traditional kitchen cabinetry style, however it can be styled to suit a more modern decor too.

The design of this bespoke kitchen features a long run of cabinetry with a slight curvature as well as a long kitchen island with gorgeous waterfall worktop edges.

The Details

The clients wanted a cool, dark modern look in their kitchen and chose a black colour for all of their cabinetry, as well as a black square neck Quooker boiling water tap and satin nickel plate finished handles from Armac Martin in the style β€˜Merrick’.

The gorgeous worktops were extended up the splashbacks and down both sides of the kitchen island. The worktop is a Ceasarstone quartz in the colour β€˜Polished Statuario Maximus’. The islands stone was made considerably thicker at 60mm compared to the rest of the kitchen at 20mm for a bold effect.

The Corner Larder

The interiors of all the cabinetry, including this stunning corner larder unit, were all made in a beautiful walnut finish, bringing a touch of warmth to the otherwise cool-toned kitchen. This unit truly showcases the bespoke nature of Herringbone with angled shelves and cold shelf, deep-set drawers, matching spice racks, all in a curved unit to enhance the fluidity of the space.

We thoroughly enjoyed creating this stunning kitchen for our clients and we wish them many wonderful years in it.
