The Canterbury Kitchen, Utility & Bootroom
The Design
We recently completed this characterful bespoke kitchen and utility project for a lovely family near Canterbury, Kent. This gorgeous open plan kitchen and dining space is fitted perfectly into the historic beams of the existing space. The design includes floor to ceiling cabinetry hosting the ovens and fridge freezer, a kitchen island with a hob in the same colour and lower cabinetry with a sink and work space looking directly out into the garden.
All the bespoke cabinetry was designed in our Westminster range, a traditional shaker style cabinetry lending itself well to the age of the house, bringing in a modern twist.
The Details: Colours, Handles & Bespoke Details
We love how the kitchen fits perfectly into this space and allows for the warm colour on the wooden beams to shine, complimenting the dark black colour of the kitchen cabinets in a lovely way. The double butler sink fits the age and the wherabouts of the property perfectly and the Quartz veined worktop brightens up the kitchen and reflects the light from outside.
The island hosts a generous amount of storage and makes it possible for the family to eat around it, which is perfect for socialising both during the week and when guests come over. It also holds a wine fridge making it easy to toast to any occasion!

The Utility And Bootroom
Continuing the colour scheme this large combined utility and bootroom hides both the washer and dryer and has space for soaking and folding too. The bespoke bench stores shoes and offers a great seating space for when the family comes in and out of their lovely house.
